From life experience, the landscape that surrounds me and all my senses, I attempt to create a visual experience through mixed media art works in an expressionist narrative style.

I use water based mediums, acrylics, oils, crayons, ink, handmade papers, recycled/found objects and incorporate them in my art pieces or use them in application techniques. My mixed media art works may include printmaking techniques, such as silkscreen, cyanotype or relief block printing.

Even though I am mostly self taught, I constantly need to feed my creative soul by learning about art through more formal studies, through book learning or perfecting a technique that I have just discovered. My enthusiasm grows when I share my art with my community by giving a children’s art workshop, doing an art project with Artspa, giving a tour at AGNS or putting on an art exhibit for the public. Travel has also opened my eyes to unique visual experiences which I incorporate into art pieces.

I have always wanted to share my passion for art and hope to bring a smile to the viewer’s lips, and even better, to stir some emotion deep within.
