Finding Connections, Changing the Narrative

​We are all searching for meaningful connections, whether it be human, animal, in nature, with our surroundings or through the arts.
I’ve always been intrigued by ephemera (transitory written or printed matter not meant to be retained or preserved) and found objects. Vintage newsprint, old show posters, ticket stubs, etc. bring back nostalgic feelings and memories. Small objects discarded become fodder for my artworks. Like a puzzle, I find connections and bring the pieces together. They become a new narrative in a work of art.
